FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING AND OCCUPANCY

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By booking accommodation you acknowledge and agree that these terms and conditions apply and extend to any person occupying or visiting the accommodation and/or property and using the facilities on the property at the invitation of or with your authority. 

  1. Bookings 
    1. All bookings must be made through Valhalla Glamping’s website. 
    1. Only the number of people shown on the booking form may stay in the accommodation overnight. 
    1. All bookings are non-transferrable and must not be on-sold.  
    1. 2 nights minimum, 3 nights on Long Weekends Friday-Monday, 4 nights Easter and Christmas. 

  1. Payment
    1. Payment in full at time of booking.
    1. Full payment is required for peak season bookings. Peak season bookings are those which fall on the school holiday dates gazetted by the Queensland Government either in whole or in part.
  1. Confirmation 
    1. Accommodation will be confirmed only on receipt of the payment in full being paid. A booking that has not been confirmed by a full payment is not guaranteed. 
    2. Occupancy starts and finishes on the dates shown on the receipt and is subject to these terms and conditions.   

  1. Cancellation 
    1. If you or we cancel your accommodation, the following policies apply: 
  1. More than 28 days prior to check-in – You are entitled to a refund of all monies paid less a $50 administration fee; 

  1. Less than 28 days prior to check-in – You are entitled to a credit to be used within 3 months of the original booking date. If the credit is not used or you simply wish to cancel your booking, all monies paid will be forfeited. However, if the accommodation is able to be re-let for the original booking dates which have been cancelled then you are entitled to a full refund of all monies paid less a $100 fee. If you cancel your rescheduled booking then no further credits will be offered and all monies paid will be forfeited;

  1. Cancellation of booking scheduled in a peak period – If your booking is scheduled in a peak period as defined above (either in whole or in part) and your booking is cancelled within 60 days of your scheduled stay then all monies paid will be forfeited.  
    1. Any refunds to which are you are entitled may not include any booking fees paid or other charges incurred through the booking agent.  
    1. If you cancel your accommodation, we must receive it via email from the email address linked to the original booking.
    1. If you shorten your stay, the following policies apply: 
  1. More than 28 days prior to check-in – You are entitled to a refund of all monies paid for the relevant dates cancelled less a $50 administration fee;
  2. Less than 28 days prior to check-in – All monies paid for the relevant dates cancelled will be forfeited. However, if the accommodation is able to be re-let for the dates which have been cancelled then you are entitled to a full refund of all monies paid less a $100 fee. 
    1. There are no refunds for early departure. 

  1. Payment
    1. You will be liable for payment of any charges incurred by yourself, any other person shown on the booking form or your guests and the costs of any loss, damage and additional cleaning required.
    1. You authorise the owner ( Valhalla Glamping ) to charge any credit card for any loss, damage or monetary contribution for which any guest is liable under this document or otherwise. 

  1. Check-in and Check-out
    1. Check-in is after 1400 ( 2 PM ) but no later than 2000 ( 8 PM )
    1. Check out is before 10 AM 
    1. Earlier and or/later times may be agreed upon. Any request for earlier or later times must be made not less than 5 business days prior to the scheduled arrival. 
    1. Check in is at the main house as described in your pre-arrival letter. 
    1. On departure, the accommodation must be left in tidy condition. Leaving the accommodation in an untidy condition may result in an additional cleaning charge being incurred. 

  1. Parties or Events and Quiet Hours 
    1. Parties and/or events are not allowed without prior approval. Any request for a party or event must be made not less than 10 business days prior to the scheduled arrival. 
    1. Guests must be quiet between 22:00 and 07:00.
  1. Maximum number of guests 
    1. The maximum number of guests allowed is two persons.
  1. Firearms 
    1. The use of firearms is strictly prohibited. 
  1. Smoking 
    1. Smoking inside the accommodation or within 15m of the accommodation is strictly prohibited. 
  1. Lighting of Fires 
    1. Lighting of fires is strictly prohibited outside of the fire pit provided and is subject to weather conditions and fire bans.  
  1. Vehicles 
    1. The use of off-road motorbikes, quad-bikes and other ATVs is strictly prohibited. Driving on the property is prohibited unless arriving or departing your accommodation.

  1. Animals
    1. Animals, including pets, are strictly prohibited. 
  1. Consumption of drugs and alcohol
    1. The consumption of drugs or under-age drinking is strictly prohibited. 

  1. Inspection 
    1. The owner may inspect the accommodation at any time with reasonable notice and at any time without notice, if the owner is of the opinion that there has been a breach of these conditions. 
    1. If after inspection, the owner determines that there has been a breach of these conditions, the owner may issue you a warning. If after receiving a warning, you continue to fail to comply with these conditions, the owner may direct that you vacate the premises. If you are directed to vacate the premises all monies paid for the accommodation will be forfeited.  
  1. Liability 
    1. The owner will not be responsible for, or liable to compensate loss, theft or damage to personal property on or brought into the property.  

 

    1. The owner will not be held responsible for any damage or injury caused by falling branches whilst on the property. 

 

    1. The owner will not be held responsible for any damage or injury caused by wildlife on the property. 
    1. You are responsible for your own water safety. 

 

    1. The owner is not responsible for any misdescription of the accommodation. 

 

    1. The owner will not be responsible for any claims of injury to persons or loss or damage to property however caused, unless it was caused by faulty material, workmanship or negligence on the part of the owner.
